PICKING MANTRA: I always pack certain essentials – be it my black business suit, my favourite jeans and white tee and, of course, a pair of killer heels.
MAKEUP ESSENTIALS: It’s better to have healthy flawless skin than cover up dull skin with heavy makeup so a great cleanser is a must, along with my serum, moisturizer and eye cream. I also carry an eye curler to ”open up” my eyes, eye shadow, black mascara, blush and tinted lip butters.
STAYING SAFE: Travel in registered taxis – I always get my hotel to arrange a cab when I arrive in a new destination and only if I feel comfortable, do I keep the same driver for my entire stay. I don’t carry too much cash and only take the jewellery that I’m wearing.
BEAUTY SOLUTION: To look good, I wear minimum makeup. Once on-board, I apply a rich moisturizer & eye and lip moisturizers to prevent my skin from looking lifeless when I arrive. Due to the dehydrating effects of air cabins, my conditioning & exfoliating lip balm is a must as lips can become flaky. I never go anywhere without my NEOM travel candles.
COMFORTABLY AIRBORNE: Instead of using airlines kits, I carry my own products – be it rich moisturizer or a calming face and body hydrating spray, my own padded eye-shade and cosy sleep socks.
JET-LAG RX: I hardly ever eat on flights and when I do, I opt for a salad or sandwich. Dring water or juice and avoid dehydrating fizzy drinks or alcohol.
